About Our Founder

Dr. K. Jyothindra Kumar, a native of Trivandrum and alumnus of Loyola School, earned his dental and orthodontic specialist qualifications from the University of Kerala. He holds Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Glasgow and is a Diplomate of the Indian Board of Orthodontics. He was also honored with a Fellowship in Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and awarded a Doctor of Science (Honoris Causa) for his contributions to orthodontics.

He had a distinguished career in the Kerala Medical Education Department from 1980 to 2020, serving as Professor of Orthodontics at Government Dental College, Trivandrum, and later as Principal of Government Dental Colleges in Trivandrum and Kottayam. He retired as Joint Director – General of Medical Education and Head of the Kerala Dental Education Service, and also played a key role in establishing the Government Dental Colleges in Alappuzha and Thrissur.
